Our organization was created to honor Kari, an amazing woman, who died by suicide. We want to make light out of the darkness that came with her death. The stigma around suicide and mental health must change and we are determined to make those conversations the norm.
Our mission is to create awareness and acceptance to conversations involving suicide and mental health. With doing so, we want to give back to families in need after a suicide occurs for whatever costs they may endure. We also want to help those with mental health issues find proper therapy and assist them with costs.
“Sometimes, you have to experience the darkness to appreciate the light.”
Life gets hard and sometimes things happen to us that we don't expect or aren't sure how to handle; you lose your job, you're barely passing your classes, your marriage is failing or whatever else it may be. Depression occurs, anxiety ramps up, and you may feel like your life is not worth living anymore. Our challenge to you is to 'Kari On' with your life. The darkness will pass, and the light will shine again.
Find your purpose and find your reason to keep living every day. Realize that there is more to life than your current scenario. This is easier said than done, but we want everybody to know that you are not alone. We can be an outlet for anyone who may be suffering. We ourselves have had to battle multiple demons and continue to push forward everyday. You are not weak, you just aren't seeing any light. We want to be that light and help you find a reason to continue. 'Click About Us' to find out more about what the organization is looking to achieve.
